Nintendo has finally revealed the initial details for their upcoming Super Smash Bros. Invitational, which is going to be held at the Nokia Theater during the annual E3 convention on June 10th.
There will be 16 potential combatants who were previously gathered up from previous brackets. Apparently, Nintendo is expecting thousands of spectators to join, both in person and online via streaming.
In total, the line will be drawn at 3,000 members of the public, and wristbands will be given out on a first come, first served basis starting at 9:30 AM. Nintendo is explicitly telling their fans to not start queuing up before Tuesday morning, and once you get a wristband, you can return to the plaza at 2:30 PM when the doors actually open – although the event doesn’t begin until 4:00 PM.
If you can’t make it to the Smash Bros. Invitational, you can still watch it via Twitch and Nintendo’s Twitch channels.
In the meantime, you can visit the Invitational’s official homepage here.
