Ninja Theory is known for their console games Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, and more notably their controversial reboot of Devil May Cry – but now they’ve put out a brand new game on mobile devices.
Titled simply Fightback, the game channels cheesy 80s action movie stylizing and classic beat ’em up gameplay. Storytelling seems to be taking a bit of a backseat with this game, which is a pretty far departure from their previous games.
You can view the game’s launch trailer below:
You’ll be able to fight through hordes of nameless thugs across a hundred plus levels, or through literally endless waves of baddies in the game’s endless mode. You can also customize your fighter before you enter the fray.
To finish the game and publish it on iOS and Google Play, Ninja Theory joined forces with EA subsidiary Chillingno. Currently, only the iOS version is available, which you can view here.
