Publisher Kadokawa Game Linkage and developer Skeleton Crew Studio have announced a release date for Ninja Slayer: Neo-Saitama in Flames.

The new game, which is based on the hit manga series of the same name, is launching on July 24th for Windows PC (via Steam) and Switch – the Switch port was confirmed today.

A fast-paced action platformer based on the world of Ninja Slayer, a hit manga that sold 4.44 million copies! In the fictional cyberpunk city of Neo-Saitama, take control of Ninja Slayer as he does battle with numerous evil ninjas, all to avenge the death of his wife and child.

Defeat your foes with high-speed combat!

Ninjas are known to be fast, and their attacks are even faster! Unleash intense, ultra-fast attacks to defeat any yakuza and ninja in your way!

Use Karate to dispatch the cannon-fodder small-fry without even needing to stop. Tougher enemies on your tail? Harness the Ninja Dash, a high velocity attack that lets you race through enemies and terrain with ease, and finish off your foes with Hissatsu Waza, special ninja techniques that boast terrifying power.

A futuristic cyberpunk city called Neo-Saitama!

The Ninja Slayer story is set in Neo-Saitama, a futuristic fictional city. Race across skyscrapers, streets and more across eight unique stages on your quest to reach Tokorozawa Pillar, the ninjas’ final base, all against the backdrop of the night in a bright, bustling metropolis.
