The latest Dengeki issue has revealed a sequel to Koei Tecmo and developer Gust’s Yoru no Nai Kuni (known as Nights of Azure in English).
Subtitled Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon, the new game will launch for both PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
Chief among the new additions in the sequel are improved combat, and new systems that surpass the Servans found in the original.
Fans can expect the upcoming sequel to feature a love triangle between three girls:
- Alushe Anatoria: A pretty straightforward girl that does things before thinking. After becoming a half demon and obtaining new powers, she fights to save Liliana.
- Liliana Selphin: A girl who is selected as a bride of sorts. She is both kind and fair with everyone she meets, however she is a bit stubborn at times.
- Luenhide Ariarod: A childhood friend of both Alushe and Liliana, who is also a holy knight as part of the Vatican. Naturally hot-headed and possibly seen as full of herself, she is actually quite serious.
Finally, key staff on the game include producer Keisuke Kikuchi, director Hiroshi Kataoka, character designs by Yoshiku, scenario writer Makoto Shibata, and supervisory roles by Junichi Fujisaku.
