Not long after Square Enix teased the NieR series would continue, the publisher has released a video celebrating the series’ 15th anniversary.

The video is actually an official reupload of the celebratory video shown at the “NieR 15th Anniversary EXHIBITION: Unerasable Records” event that was held in Ikebukuro, Tokyo back in August 2025. While the video doesn’t reveal anything new, the publisher did recently tease “NieR: Automata to be continued…”

The original NieR was released way back in 2010 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and spawned an entire franchise with remakes, sequels, anime, and more. The latest game, 2017’s NieR: Automata, has been available on PC and consoles. Get our review!
