Square Enix has announced that NieR Re[in]carnation has achieved over 15 million downloads worldwide.
The Japanese Twitter account made the announcement, following last month’s announcement the game had achieved over 1 million downloads in the west. Six months prior the game had achieved over 5 million downloads in Japan- roughly a week after launch.
As previously reported, the game focuses on a small girl awakening in a world of towers and dungeons, with a small ghost like creature called Mama. To regain her memory, she must use what little she can remember to call upon heroes to fight terrible monsters within her memory.
