Behaviour Interactive has released a teaser trailer announcing that famous actor Nicolas Cage is coming to Dead by Daylight as none other than himself.

The teaser pans over a ruined film set as Nicolas Cage waxes poetic in the background. “There is nothing more powerful than imagination” he says before emerging from the fog in a luxurious red smoking jacket.

The trailer is made even more eerie by the fact that it doesn’t announce whether he’s going to be a Survivor… or a Killer. Though some attentive fans have pointed out the roadmap for Dead by Daylight includes a Survivor only DLC so it’s a safe assumption.

Nicolas Cage isn’t the first Hollywood actor to lend his appearance to Dead by Daylight. Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams of the Evil Dead franchise made his appearance a few years back.

More details about Cage’s role in the game are coming on July 5.
