Xbox have announced Aang and Korra are coming to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl; ahead of the announcement from Gamemill Entertainment.

The “This Week on Xbox” video discussed upcoming game releases for Xbox. At 7:31 the announcer proudly declares Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender and Korra from The Legend of Korra had just been announced as being in the game. Except, they have not.

At this time of writing, there is no official stand-alone trailer of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl featuring the announcement of those characters. However, the official website does feature the characters. While scheduled to release today, the official trailer is likely to drop soon.

The game boasts a 19 character strong roster, including Spongebob, CatDog, Ren & Stimpy, Nigel Thornberry, Danny Phantom, Zim, and more. While a platform-based fighting game clearly inspired by Super Smash Bros., of note is how the game uses wave-dashing (a mechanic from Super Smash Bros. Melee), and other mechanics such as strafing and being able to grab and throw most projectiles.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl launches October 5th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S.
