Today’s Niche Spotlight is Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi, a dungeon crawling RPG by Experience Inc. and Aksys Games.
Set in an alternate 1979, Tokyo is thrown into chaos when a mysterious structure, dubbed Yomi, suddenly appears downtown. The government is offering a massive reward for anyone who can explore the structure, and come back with any resources or artifacts hidden within. Many have attempted to navigate Yomi, only to never be seen again as they succumb to the labyrinth’s countless dangers.
Lead an elite band of brave adventurers called the Undernauts, as you make your way through the labyrinthian corridors of Yomi, fighting terrifying monsters and avoiding deadly traps. Customize and upgrade your party members with a variety of jobs, backgrounds, and the mythical loot and gear you’ll plunder from Yomi’s depths.

As a Dungeon RPG, the player must dive through many dungeon levels and move through a grid system to find the correct path to proceed.
Players create a party of 6 in order to fight battles and level up while proceeding through the game’s storyline.Use the “Switch Boost” system to defeat hordes of monsters and create magical doors, ladders, and bridges to escape.
