Today’s Niche Spotlight is Scarlet Hood and the Wicked Wood, a narrative-driven adventure game by Devespresso Games and Headup.
This latest game from the developers of Vambrace: Cold Soul and The Coma series follows Scarlet, an aspiring idol who has been transported to a strange fairytale world. Scarlet finds herself stuck in a time loop set over the course of seven days, as she tries to lead a Munchkin troupe through the Wicked Wood, a cursed domain ruled by the cruel Black Witch LeFaba.
Solve puzzles, make choices in a branching storyline, and help Scarlet gain the mantle of the Red Witch so she can break the time loop and find a way home. You can find the launch trailer below.

It’s a new day in the realm of Glome. Sunlight creeps across the land revealing a lush, vibrant world brimming with magick, beauty, and artifacts from a mysterious bygone culture.
