Today’s Spotlight is Poly Bridge 2, the follow-up to the hit bridge construction puzzle game by Dry Cactus.
As with the previous game, Poly Bridge 2 is all about solving physics-based puzzles by constructing elaborate bridges using a variety of modular parts. The sequel runs on a custom physics engine that promises to be more accurate and predictable.
There are also new mechanics, like springs, 3-way split joints, and a break indicator to help players more easily diagnose problems with their designs. The game also shipped with sandbox modes, full Steam Workshop support, and Twitch integration that allows streamers to interact with their audience by sharing bridge plans.
