Today’s Spotlight is about Milanoir, a 2D action thriller by Italo Games and Good Shepard Entertainment.
Milanoir is inspired by the cheesy Italian crime flicks of the ’70s, and that inspiration is reflected in its story and funky soundtrack. You play as Piero, an ex-con fresh out of prison with a burning desire to get revenge on the crime boss that framed him.
Navigate Milan’s seedy criminal underworld as you search for information and evade the gangs of hired thugs that want you dead. Gameplay involves a mixture of stealth, tactical gunplay, and even the odd car chase or two. The entire story can be played through alone or in 2-player local co-op. You can find the (rather amusing) launch trailer above.
Milanoir is available on Windows PC (via Steam, GOG, and Humble Store), PS4, Switch, and Xbox One for $12.99.
