Halloween might be over, but that doesn’t mean I can’t share one more spoopy game this week. Garage: Bad Trip is a gory top-down shooter by Zombie Dynamics and tinyBuild’s indie publishing label.
Inspired by the straight-to-video splatterpunk films of the ’80s, Garage is a retro-fueled acid trip gone horribly wrong. Battle waves of zombies and mutants in the underworld with an arsenal of guns and melee weapons. You can find a trailer above.
Garage: Bad Trip is available on Windows PC, Mac (both via Steam and the Humble Store), and the Switch for $14.99.
Here’s a rundown of the game:
Explore the dark hallways of underground parking and find a passage to the hidden obscure underworld. Find new weapons and use them to survive. Solve the mystery of this cursed place and the monsters that inhabit it.
Key Features:
- Every weapon has its dedicated use in a battle against the mutants, the undead, and the military;
- Unique gameplay combines survival, ammo management, shoot’em’up, and racing;
- Inspired by Splatterpunk storytelling style;
- Levels filled with secrets and challenges.
