Today’s Spotlight is Barbearian, a colorful top-down hack and slash game by Kimmo Lahtinen.
You play as a raging barbarian that has been transported to a strange world. Hack, slash, and blast your way through massive hordes of enemies with upgradable loot as you try to uncover the secrets of the Arbitrators and how you can use them to return home.
The game features some light strategy elements as well. You can liberate prisoners to amass a large army of units that will assist you in battle. You can find the launch trailer above.
Barbearian is available on Windows PC via Steam for $14.99, and its currently 25% off as part of the Steam Winter sale. There’s also an iOS version that costs $8.99.
