The summer is upon us and this is looking to be the biggest June ever for gaming. Normally releases cools down, as this is announcement season for the industry due to the history of E3 (RIP).
However this year brings about the launch of one of the most anticipated consoles with the Switch 2 kicking things off on June 5th. Don’t worry though, even if you aren’t a Nintendo fan there’s still plenty on this list for you to enjoy.
Deltarune: Chapter 3/4
Deltarune fans were pleasantly surprised when not one, but two of the next chapters for the beloved game by Undertale creator Toby Fox was announced. Once these release, the planned storyline will be over halfway complete after its initial release way back in 2018.
For those who don’t know about this game, you can expect a unique role playing experience with turned base combat as they explore the world. However fighting isn’t the only option as players can choose to resolve things peacefully by literally jumping through a lot of hoops to get there.

Mario Kart World
While there are many games coming out on the Nintendo Switch 2’s launch, Mario Kart World is easily the biggest title to be dropping day one for the platform. A brand new mainline Mario Kart title has finally arrived after the long lifespan of Mario Kart 8.
The fun kart gameplay is still here for the series, but things have gotten bigger with the first open world title for the franchise. Will there be enough content though to justify the $80 price tag? Only time will tell.
Mario Kart World races on June 5th exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.
