Now that we’re firmly in 2025, the month of February will continue to set the tone of what we can expect from the rest of this year with some of the biggest titles coming out in this coming month.
There’s a wide range of games coming out this month, some the latest of popular entries while others hope to become a beloved franchise of their own. Here’s our recap of all the hottest Niche Games coming in February 2025:
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
The sequel to the beloved Kingdom Come: Deliverance is here as the game continues the story of Henry in this action packed RPG set in 15th century medieval Europe.
The game continues on its strong predecessor’s footsteps by placing players in a deep RPG where their choices matter in affecting who Henry will ultimately become by the end of the story.
Kingdom Come Deliverance II is set to launch on February 4th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store).
Civilization VII
The Civilization series is back with its seventh installment. Gameplay is enhanced in this new chapter in the long running franchise’s history as players will work towards creating the greatest empire in human history as they choose new civilizations with each new age of advancement.
Famous historical figures make their appearance in game, as is tradition, offering unique ways to achieve dominance over the world map through military might, economic prosperity, or cultural impact. The options are endless for players to make their empire their own.
Civilization VII launches for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) on February 11th.
Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered
After the success of the previous remaster, Lara Croft’s second trilogy is now coming to modern hardware. This new set of games continues on her story in the era known as the “darkness trilogy”.
If the previous remasters are of any indication, then it can be certain that Aspyr will give players the experience they fell in love with all those years ago while also bringing the classic gameplay to new gamers at the same time.
Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered is slated to launch on February 14th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam).
Avowed
Avowed is the latest RPG to come from Obsidian Entertainment, the developers behind titles such as Fallout: New Vegas and more recently, Pentiment. The game takes place in what’s known as the Living Lands, an island where magic gives life to anything the imagination can come up with.
As players navigate the world with the initial goal of investigating the chaos spreading across the land. They’ll soon find themselves in a mission much bigger than themselves as they’ll make tough choices that’ll affect not only themselves, but also the world and its inhabitants.
Avowed releases for Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam) on February 18th.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
The developers behind Life is Strange is taking us back to the 90s in a story that follows a plot in the past and its impact on the present. Similar to their other titles, the upcoming release here in February covers the first part of the story, with the second coming later this year.
Players will follow a tale of girls who must remember a promise they made 27 years prior in 1995 and dark secrets must come to light. Relationships and how you respond to others will impact the story and those around you.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is slated to release on February 18th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam).
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
The latest Like a Dragon title takes the franchise onto a brand-new adventure in a unique setting as the story follows ex-Yakuza member Goro Majima in his hunt for lost memories as he’s now a modern day pirate.
Fans of the franchise will be able to find a new environment than what they’re used to, but being able to run a pirate crew and engage in battles on the seas with their very own pirate ship.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii sets sail on February 21st for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam).
Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection
Konami brings Yu-Gi-Oh! back to its roots by reviving the many classic games that came out during the franchise’s initial boom. With 17 games packed into one collection, players will have plenty of card battling action to enjoy.
New features added into this collection include the ability to duel against other players online, a rewind function to make better moves, and saving during any point in the game for a truly seamless experience.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection is ready to d-d-d-d-duel on Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam) on February 27th.
Monster Hunter Wilds
Monster Hunter continues on with a brand new world known as the Forbidden Lands. A place where nature runs wild and the environment constantly changes drastically. This is a world where both man and beast must adapt if they wish to survive.
Players will be given new tools, weapons, and armor at their disposal to hunt down powerful creatures who have already managed to take on such a dangerous land. Smart tactics and careful study are a must if they wish to succeed.
