Next Super Smash Bros Update Brings Costumes, Tournament Mode, and More

The newest update for Super Smash Bros. has been released today, and with it comes a new batch of Mii Fighter costumes, YouTube functionality and a Tournament Mode.

The YouTube replay functions will allow you to upload replays of matches to YouTube through a Google account, and view the matches on PCs or smartphones.

Both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game will also be getting Tourney Modes with this update. There will be two types; Community Tourneys will allow you to compete against other players for a high score within a certain amount of time. Regular Tourneys will run at specified times and have more strict rules for players to follow.

Also coming with this update are two flashback stages from the original game on the N64. Peach’s Castle and Hyrule Castle will both be available for purchase, running buyers 250 yen individually in Japan or in a combo pack for 350 yen. It’s likely that you can expect a price around that in the Western locations as well.

And, of course, costumes are on their way as well! Chrom (Fire Emblem Awakening) and King K. Rool (Donkey Kong series) will be making an appearance for Mii Fighters.
