Publisher Sega and developer Creative Assembly have announced the next mainline Total War game will be announced at The Game Awards 2025, on December 11th.

“Whilst we’re not ready to unveil the project in all of its glory, it represents one of the most ambitious games we have ever worked on as a studio and we can’t wait to share it with you,” game director Attila Mohacsi said during the Total War 25th Anniversary Showcase today.

He added, “We would like invite you tune into The Game Awards on December 11th to watch the world premiere announcement trailer for our next Total War title. After that moment, we look forward to sharing more with you.”
