Sega has announced they’re now accepting applicants to audition for female characters in the next installment of the Yakuza series.

The “Minato Girls Audition” is open to Japanese female residents over 20 years of age and winners can be included in the latest Yakuza series currently in development. The deadline to apply is on Friday May 31st, and apps are submitted over on the game’s official site.

Those who passed the preliminary audition will be screened at the main Sega office at Osaka on June 23, with a final screening in Tokyo happening around July or August. Selected winners will appear in real-time cutscenes and fully in-game versions like in previous entries in the series.

Since 2005, the Like a Dragon / Yakuza franchise has featured cameos from different portions of the Japanese entertainment industry, and lately in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, it opened doors on more talent like VTuber K-son who appears as a fictionalized version of herself in Infinite Wealth.
