New Yoshi Game Revealed for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has announced a new Yoshi game, Developed by Good-Feel, for the Nintendo Switch.

While details are scant, a new trailer was shown (featured above) for the game, and it will launch sometime next year. What we know so far is that the art style was designed to mimic a “miniature diorama” and there will 2-player gameplay to some capacity.

Additionally there will be a mechanic involving the player hitting a switch to “flip” the level around so that it is possible to see and interact with the environment from a different perspective.

Yoshi follows in the footsteps of another Nintendo game featured this year at E3, Kirby, with keeping the working title limited to the name of the main protagonist.

Here are the first screenshots:

Woolly World was great, so I’m down for more of that.

Unsure about that one, looks a bit too child freindly and easy for my taste, but we will see, Yoshi’s Wooly World on Wii U was pretty neat.

Maybe it’s a game where you get to smell yoshis eggs.

Well last time we got “NEW” Yoshi it was a disappointing island, but this NEW papercraft already looks to have more to it, but that’s thanks to the yarn influences it seems.
