New Yakuza Game Set for a Reveal at Tokyo Game Show 2015

yakuza 09-10-15-1

We’ve learned that Sega is going to unveil a new Yakuza game at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

The news comes via Sega updating the official Japanese website for the Yakuza series, with above image and message. It’s worth mentioning the image is named button-new_title.jpg, and the fifteenth of September is the date of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia’s press conference, at Tokyo Game Show 2015.

Finally, this year is the 10th anniversary of the Yakuza series, which has since been on almost every PlayStation system, with the original Ryū ga Gotoku launching for the PS2 back in December of 2005.

We’ll keep you guys posted.

I really hope they release these games on pc one day, I am too much of a cheap ass to buy a PS3 and PS4 to play them.

    PS4 or Vita?
    Place your bets.

PS4 most likely, they already have 2 of those.

I wouldn’t mind a spinoff like Sega did for the PSP.

ANOTHER? Yakuza 6? I’m all for it but damn, I gotta rake in some cash to keep up.

I really just want them to release Kenzan in the west, though.

Anyone else find Yakuza Zero kinda underwhelming?

Nothing against the game, but I would rather move forward with the story chronologically than backward.

It’s okay. 6 (or whatever this is) won’t come out in America anyway. Or if it does, it won’t come until 2018 or something.

5 is coming out. And if 5 does well, Zero might come out. And if that does well..

But if it’s one of those samurai spinoffs, we won’t get it at all.
