We’ve learned that Microsoft is readying a new user interface for the Xbox One.

The new interface was shown off during their Xbox Daily E3 show today. While the new interface is very different from the current UI, the focus is entirely on speed and community.

You’ll be able to access menus and common tasks quickly, while also being able to view an activity feed that shows what your friends are doing.

Cortana is going to be included in the new interface. You can tell her to do certain tasks like creating a party, among other things. A release date for this new interface was not given.
