Square Enix showed new footage of World of Final Fantasy during this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
While the monster-catching RPG has already been known for its super deformed chibi models, the above footage (it begins around the 40:00 mark) shows off Sephiroth as you’ve never seen him before. It’s almost like he’s not a totally insane mass-murderer spawned from the DNA of a space-traveling calamity!
In the game, Sephiroth will be available to players to utilize as a summon – but apparently only if you pre-order the game.
World of Final Fantasy is launching for both PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on October 25th in North America, October 27th in Japan, and October 28th in Europe.
