A new anime project for Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me has been announced by Doga Kobo.

The announcement for a new Wataten (short for Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita!) project was made on the official Twitter account for the anime series.

Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me is a slice-of-life and shojou ai (Girls’ Love) series following college student Miyako. Miyako is an otaku that makes cosplay outfits and wants to become a fashion designer. When her younger sister Hinata brings her friend Hana over, Miyako endeavors to get closer to her in order to get her to try on the outfits she designs.

Beginning in 2016 from creator Nanatsu Mukunoki; Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me is ongoing and serialized in Comic Yuri Hime. An anime series began airing in 2019 from studio Doga Kobo, an animation studio known for their work on YuruYuri, Himouto Umaru-chan, and The Helpful Fox Senko-chan.

Details about the new Wataten project are forthcoming and will be posted here on Nicchiban as they’re announced.
