The most recent Super Mario Maker update includes two secret new features, which include:

Japanese comedian Shinya Arino, as well as The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes’ Totem Link.

Shinya Arino is playable in his Event Course, which is a new level in the game’s Course World hub. Totem Link is playable in the Tri-Force Heroes Event Course. If you manage to beat both levels, you’ll unlock the costumes so you can use them yourself.
