The Bearded Ladies and Funcom have released their first round of new free content to last year’s tactical RPG, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden.
The new update adds the “Stalker Trials,” which are a series of combat challenges that can be accessed from the main menu. Pripp the bartender will give you missions with a variety of objectives that grant extra points.
All characters, mutations, and skills are unlocked in this mode, but you’ll need to buy your weapon upgrades and gear as you progress. You can read more about the update here, which is currently only live on the PC version of the game.
Mutant Year Zero has also received a sizable PC demo, which you can find on the Steam page.
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is available on Windows PC (via Steam), PS4, and Xbox One for $34.99. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (it’s pretty great!).
