Publisher Ubisoft has confirmed more new Ubisoft NFT games are coming, news posted alongside the end of life news for Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Ubisoft teased more new Ubisoft NFT games are coming via the official Ubisoft Quartz site, which notes “more updates with features to the platform and future drops coming with other games,” suggesting they’re bringing Quartz and/or Digits to their other games.

Here’s the word:

New Ubisoft NFT Games

Thank you to all Ghost Recon® Breakpoint players who claimed their first Digits!

You own a piece of the game and have left your mark in its history. As the last Digit for Ghost Recon Breakpoint was released on 3/17/2022, stay tuned for more updates with features to the platform and future drops coming with other games!

Ubisoft’s premiere NFT (non-fungible token) release was their controversial “Quartz” program, which they rolled out first to Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

The aforementioned news that Ghost Recon Breakpoint updates are ending means the team is likely moving onto whatever Tom Clancy-branded shooter they have planned next.

“This is just the beginning…” the publisher says on their NFT home page, teasing further NFT releases for their games.

Ubisoft previously came under more fire with its NFT embrace when their VP of Strategic Innovations Lab said gamers “don’t get what a secondary market can bring to them” and that they will never force players to use Quartz and Digits.
