I own the original, sittin’ in my backlog. I picked it up after it was subject to the Two Minutes Hate at NeoGAF. This will be nice for people who missed the first release.

Assuming they don’t end up getting the crashing bug they couldn’t seem to pin down the cause of in this one too, this’ll be nice for the people who caught the first release as well.

I think Lex is referring to the “Mouse Rape” scene in the game along with other types of “triggering” content NeoGAF usually gets mad salt over.

I think Wikipedia’s fine for at least defining it: “Two Minutes Hate, from George Orwell’s novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, is a daily period in which Party members of the society of Oceania must watch a film depicting the Party’s enemies (notably Emmanuel Goldstein and his followers) and express their hatred for them.”

NeoGAF like to have periodic threads where everyone reaffirms their hatred of The Patriarchy with the level of intense feeling Party members are expected to show, though I don’t know if any GAF members are quite to the point of throwing things at their monitor yet.
