Just in time for the Japanese premiere, Nintendo has shared a new trailer for Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, the first computer animated film in the franchise.
Featured above, you can view the latest trailer for the movie, which is dubbed over with the song “Let You Love Me” by Rita Ora. Japanese theaters premiered the film yesterday, on July 12th.
The film appears to follow the original Pokemon movie, Pokémon the First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back, which premiered way back in 1998.
Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution is set for a western premiere sometime later this year, presumably with only an English language voice-over dub.
The latest games in the franchise, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, are both launching on November 15th, for Nintendo Switch.
