A new trailer has released for the upcoming film Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween.

Originally announced earlier this year, The Bride of Halloween sees detective Miwako Sato’s wedding being interrupted by an assailant, while and detective Wataru Takagi is hurt trying to protect her. While all is resolved, Sato still draws comparisons to when Jinpei Matsuda, someone she deeply loved, was killed in a series of bombings three years ago.

In addition to all this happening to Conan’s friends, that very bomber has escaped from prison. As Rei Furuya is hunting down the man who killed his police academy classmate, a bomb collar is put around his neck. Can Conan and his friends solve the mystery, and exorcise the terrible memories that haunt Sato and Furuya?

In earlier news, a spinoff series called Wild Police Story, starring Furuya, was announced earlier this year.
