Full Disclosure: I have financially backed Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Kickstarter.

Publisher 505 Games and developer ArtPlay have shared a new trailer for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Featured above, the new trailer introduces a second playable protagonist – Zangetsu. He’s voiced by none other than David Hayter!

Zangetsu wields the “Zangetsuto” katana, and players can expect his abilitoes to open up “a whole host of new ways to enjoy the game” as his hook chain can let you further explore the castle.

505 Games also confirmed the Japanese release is delayed “due to some unexpected logistical difficulties.” Furthermore, the publisher confirmed the following content will be available on launch day: Nightmare Mode, New Game Plus, 8-bit retro level, and cheat codes.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is launching across Windows PC (via Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4, and Xbox one on June 18th and on June 25th for Nintendo Switch.
