3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is now available in Japan on the Nintendo 3DS and to celebrate, Sega has put out a trailer for the game that lets you watch it in 3D from any screen, so long as you have those red and blue 3D glasses.

Featured above, you can view the trailer, although you should be forewarned that it’s obviously pointless to watch it unless you have those glasses – that is unless you like giving yourself a headache.

The 3DS re-release comes with some other features aside from stereoscopic 3D, namely a quick save feature, and an option to play the original Japanese version, or the international release.

A western release for 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is coming some time this fall.
