Sony Interactive Entertainment has shared a new video documentary for The Last Guardian.
Featured above, the new video showcases the game’s music, which is composed, orchestrated, and conducted by Takeshi Furukawa. Coming from this, the score is then performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, Trinity Boys Choir, and the London Voices.
Sony will also release a The Last Guardian Composer’s Choice music application for PlayStation 4, entirely separate from the game itself. This features 17 tracks from the game’s score, and will be available on iTunes at a later time.
The team is going all out by releasing a vinyl soundtrack for the score (featured above), and it will release sometime in December. Further information regarding pricing, a release date, and final cover art will come later.
Lastly, Sony also revealed a custom audio mode for The Last Guardian for the Headset Companion App, which they promise will bring a “fine-tuned audio experience engineered for maximum immersion.”
The Last Guardian will launch for PlayStation 4 on December 6th in North America, Japan, and Europe, December 7th in Australia, and finally December 9th in the UK.
