Square Enix has confirmed that their newly announced RPG, Project Octopath Traveler, is being led by Tomoya Asano, the producer behind the Bravely series.

The news comes via the Facebook page set up for the title’s development, which identifies the creator and his team as leading the project.

Asano-san posted the following message:

This is Square Enix producer Tomoya Asano. It’s my great pleasure to finally reveal our latest project, an entirely new RPG, Octopath Traveler! I can’t reveal specifics just yet (please keep watching for new promotional things coming), however we do want to share a behind the scenes peek at our development process. A winding road is before us, but we hope you’ll join us for the experience!
