New Summer Lesson Trailer Features Both Ladies

Bandai Namco has revealed a new trailer for Summer Lesson, their upcoming virtual reality experience set for the newly re-named PlayStation VR.

Featured above, the new video shows off scenarios we’ve seen before, however, now you get to see a direct comparison between the Japanese and the American (probably?) ladies.

While one girl is learning English, the other is learning Japanese. You’ll also be able to carry on conversations, and generally feel an entirely unique experience. There’s a lot more to it than that, as you can read my hands-on experience with the game from this year’s E3.

Finally, it’s worth reiterating that we might be getting four separate versions of this virtual reality suite, for each season, as Bandai Namco filed trademarks for each corresponding season (Spring, Autumn, Winter).

This game looks like it’s going to be super cozy, in a sort of animal crossing kind of way.

How did it work again, Japan gets one version and Americans the other? Or is it a choice you make at the beginning.

I can’t help interpreting this “game” as them saying “We all know what direction this VR stuff is gonna go in….”

This is beautiful, like watching a small fish making his way through the mud for the first time in history, the first clumsy and awkward steps of what may evolve into something amazing.
It is the dawn of a new era! The age of VR.

There’s hope as long as people keep leaving konami en masse.
All it takes is another company to grab the staff and do something like it.

How much ? I hope it’s cheap. This game, RIGS and No Man’s Sky are my most anticipated VR games out there.

Wouldn’t PC be more logical for this sort of thing given that VR is more popular there, whereas the PS4 is just starting their frontier?

Actually, thinking on it now, i imagine Win10/Xbox One could also work due to mixed reality being a thing, so as to have your vee arr (Or AR if you want to get technical here) waifu in your living room.

Yes but they are japanese and Bamco so they probably find whatever hardware sony throws out more comfortable.

It wouldn’t be so bad if at least the “playstation VR” headset was guaranteed to work with PC, and they just made the games work with universal VR standards but I fear they’ll go for a closed VR ecosystem at sony

Welcome to the 21st century, with all its annoyances and disturbances.

It’s a generation gap, I know. The 90s kids feathers would be ruffled when they see new techs in 2040s.

Technology sure is amazing, better enjoy it while we can…cause we all know after the activist succeed in banning sex-robots, they’ll be coming after VR for no real reason next. Sorry I should have stated if they succeed in banning those robots :D
