Famitsu has published their first online preview for Digimon World: Next Order.

While the preview doesn’t give us new information, we’ve gotten the first direct-feed screenshots of the game, featured above as well as below.

The PS Vita-bound RPG is focused on protagonist Takuto, an older high school student who typically spends his days studying for tests. However, as a young boy he was the runner-up in a Digimon game competition.

With character designs by Taiki, the game also features a day and night system, with area fields appearing different, depending on when you frequent them. Development on the game is currently 30% complete.

Digimon World: Next Order is launching in Japan some time next year.
