SNK Corporation has announced (via Ruliweb) the release window for their new Samurai Shodown game.

The latest in their Sakoku era fighting game series is launching sometime in Q2 of next year – news confirmed during an investors press conference.

There was a slide presented that raised questions as to whether or not the new Samurai Shodown would be released on platforms outside PS4 – this isn’t the case. The multiple platforms listed are simply to reaffirm the various platforms the Samurai Shodown series has appeared on, and not the latest Samurai Shodown game.
