The official site for the PS Vita game, Persona 4: Dancing All Night has opened in advance of the game’s launch on June 25. Info on Mashimo Kanami, a new character, as well as other  matters, will be detailed on the site.

Director and producer Kazuhisa Wada recently answered some questions from fans, confirming that there will be a download version, and that there are no plans to distribute a trial version.

Voice actors thus far confirmed include stars Namikawa Daisuke as the protagonist, Narukami Yuu; Kotobuki Minako as Mashita Kanami; and Kugimiya Rie as Kujikawa Rise.

It’s been confirmed that Nanako has a dance, but Ohtani Hanako will not dance.

P4D is a music/rhythm game with a story that takes place after the continuation of P4G. There will be various outfits for the characters, and various unlockable items available in the game. In Free Dance mode, you can unlock more playable songs. You’ll be awarded various prizes for full combos. DLC costumes and music will also be available.

In the game, notes will come out from the center of the screen and head towards six areas on the edges.  When overlap occurs at the edge of the screen, you’ll cause a tempo break. Use the buttons and D-pad to deal with the notes. There are also scratch elements that you can manage with the touchscreen, as well as long notes that require a longer press. A tutorial and a play movie will be uploaded to illustrate the above gameplay.

The game includes four levels of difficulty: Easy, Normal, Difficult, and All Night. You may also lower the difficulty for Story Mode. There’s also a preview mode, if you just want to watch.

A preview of some of the game’s music is available here.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night will be compatible with Vita TV. The standard edition will cost 6,980 yen, while the gorgeous edition will cost 9,980 yen. CERO has not yet rated the single-player game.

Thanks, Persona Channel and Games Talk.
