Atlus has shared a new trailer for Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir.

Featured above, the new trailer gives us a closer look at both the alchemy and cooking mechanics in game.

For those who didn’t play the original game, you could only brew potions by getting a recipe and mixing an item with liquid “material” magic. In the semi-remake, you can also mix pre-made potions with an item, to create sometime entirely new.

You can also mix potions with each other, and with food, to create even more worthwhile (or failed) creations. You don’t need recipes anymore, it’s down to mixing items and materials, or a potion and an item – so you have to hope for the best results.

One of the biggest additions in the upcoming remake are the “Rest Areas,” which players will encounter in the various levels. In this rest area, players will be able to visit Pooka chef Maury’s Touring Restaurant, where pending the correct ingredients, he can cook up meals that restore both HP and even increase your experience points.

Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir is launching across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita in North America on June 7th, with a European release set for sometime in June as well.
