We’ve learned (via The Wall Street Journal) that a new Nintendo Direct broadcast is coming before the end of this year.

Previously, we knew that Nintendo Directs were going to continue, however there was no real indication of when to expect a new one – following the tragic loss of Nintendo president Satoru Iwata.

The report states that Nintendo’s interim president Tatsumi Kimishima has re-iterated that Nintendo Directs will continue, and that one is coming before the end of this year. Kimishima also made a tease in saying there will be “at least” one more in 2015, meaning there could be more.

With Iwata no longer with us, it remains to be seen who will host the Nintendo Direct with the expected Reggie Fils-Aime.
