New My Hero Academia game in development via Japanese dev KLab

New My Hero Academia Game Announced Thumbnail

Popular Japanese mobile game developer and publisher KLab has announced a new online game based on the My Hero Academia anime television series.

KLab are known for releasing other game based on anime franchises such as Love Live! School Idol Festival, Bleach: Brave Souls, Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, and others.

Given that all the games listed above are published on mobile devices, it is highly expected the upcoming My Hero Academia title will also be a mobile game.

There is already a game on mobile devices based on the franchise called My Hero Academia: Ultra Impact. That title is available on Android and iOS, where it plays as a turned based RPG with gacha elements.

This seems oddly similar to KLab’s other games, so it seemed a bit strange to have two gacha titles based on the same IP, but it remains to be seen if this will be the case for the upcoming game.

Further details weren’t announced – we’ll keep you guys posted.
