Over on the PlayStation Blog, developer Polyarc has shared more Moss: Book II details and screenshots. If you’re unfamiliar with Moss, Moss is a VR game where you play as adorable little mouse named Quill.
While Moss wasn’t the biggest game, it was one of the most charming VR games I’ve ever played and I’m looking forward to seeing the new changes being introduced for the sequel.
The first change for Moss: Book II is that the areas and environments are going to be much larger to retain that sense of how small Quill is.
In order to accommodate for these larger spaces, Polyarc has added seamless camera cuts that will allow players to move Quill around more freely without having to fight the camera or struggle to see what’s going on.
One of the biggest fan complaints about Moss was that there wasn’t any way to revisit places they’d already been, so they’ve added the ability to go back and explore to look for new areas or collectibles in Moss: Book II.
There’s more information about how much change has been made to Quill and the world around her over on the PlayStation blog, so head over there to read all of the cool stuff coming to the world of Moss: Book II.
Moss: Book II launches in spring 2022 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR.
