An investor relations report for SNK Corporation (via Ruliweb) has revealed some new information, including the possibility of a new Metal Slug game in development.

Reportedly, a new Metal Slug game is in development for console(s), separate from the mobile game currently in development at Tencent – news confirmed by SNK Corporation chairman Ge Zhihui.

The SNK boss followed up this by noting the sales of the NeoGeo Mini were higher than expected, so they’ve decided to produce Neo Geo 2 and Neo Geo 3. Details are scant, however the two new devices appear to be unrelated to the mini console.
