A new Love Live! anime project has been announced by the official staff of the Love Live! School Idol Project.
Love Live! School Idol Project is a multimedia franchise based around fictional school idol clubs. Fans of the series vote and interact with the magazine Love Live! Days and support their favorite idols. This abstract support is reflected in future creative works, in order to simulate supporting an actual idol.
Love Live! has also become a popular franchise for collaborative advertising. Most recently the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare released a promotional flyer featuring Chika Takami to encourage youths to wash their hands properly.
The new Love Live! anime project was announced on Twitter, and is currently in the early stages of production. The names of the main characters were announced in the recent teaser trailer; however other details have yet to be announced, including the final title for the new series.
