SNK Corporation has announced a new post-launch downloadable content character for The King of Fighters XIV.

The fan-created Saudi Arabian fighter Najd is being added to the game alongside the previous confirmed fighters Oswald, Heidern, and one to-be-confirmed fighter.

Here’s a brief synopsis of Najd, via SNK:

Najd (voiced by Ayaka Fukuhara) is a very quiet person dressed with an Abaya (traditional Saudi garment) with extraordinary powers. At night, she puts on her Abaya and turns into a vigilante to protect her fellow citizens. In contrast to her mysterious appearance, she is a college student during the day.

In related news, SNK confirmed they’re working on “lots of new fighting games,” including the recently confirmed SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy.
