Gearbox Software and developer Blackbird Interactive have shared a new video for Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak.

Featured above, the new six-plus minute trailer gives a sneak peak at the upcoming strategy game’s multiplayer component, with a focus on the “Artifact Retrieval” mode.

The game takes place on a single planet, in the titular Deserts of Kharak, where vehicles are a major part of the entire game. At the backbone of your fleet is the land-based carrier, which is described as something that is “at once a battleship, a support vehicle, it’s your key economic unit.”

If you pre-order the game (via Steam), you get the Homeworld Remastered Collection entirely for free. If you already own the collection, you’ll get Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak at a discount.
