New hololive games announced: DUEHOLO and Miko Sniper

hololive Production’s doujin game brand holo indie has announced new titles they have in development: Miko Sniper and DUEHOLO.

The new games were revealed alongside the brand’s totally new Twitter/X account, @holoindie_ccmc, which will post updates on their games.

While Miko Sniper is launching for PC (via Steam) on June 7th, Dueholo is launching on the 28th of the same month for PC (via Steam).

Here’s a rundown on both games:

Miko Sniper

Sakura Miko and 35P are ready for battle! Miko Sniper is a chaotic shooting game where you get to shoot, burn and explode your enemies!

Let’s go 35P!

Slashing, Striking, Flame throwers and powering up your stats! Fight together defeat incoming enemies with 35P who have various unique abilities!

Feeling going on a date?

Changing your clothes will also change your play style! Enhance 35P’s abilities to clear stages easier. Increase the number of enemies to achieve high scores. There are many ways to enjoy this game!

DUEHOLO

Genre: Deck-building roguelike card RPG Fight against holomem to strengthen your deck and defeat boss holomem!

Card RPG

A solo game where you fight like a TCG using cards. The opposing characters (enemy characters) are HoloLive members (Holomem) and their listeners and mascots! There are 35 holomem from JP gen 0 to Secret Society holoX who will appear as the opposing characters!

There will be 8 playable characters, one from each gen, who will be your alter egos! (Sakura Miko, Aki Rosenthal,Oozora Subaru, Ookami Mio, Houshou Marine, Tsunomaki Watame, Omaru Polka, Hakui Koyori)

Each character has a completely different ability, and the deck must be constructed to match that ability!

I don’t know much about Hololive…” Don’t worry, you don’t need to know much about Hololive! Not knowing much about hololive does not affect the rules or strategy of the game!

In a match (battle), the hand is retained, one card is drawn each turn, and the maximum MP (the value of cost consumption) is increased by 1.

And there is a system in which the lower the HP, the higher the attack power, making one-shot reversals possible! The later the game goes, the more damage is done and the more exciting the system becomes!

Deck Construction

Acquire cards after battles or at the store to develop your deck into a powerful one. The number of cards in the deck is always 20. Each card in the deck is important!

In the cards, HOLOMEM are illustrated! It might be fun to collect cards of your favorite HOLOMEN! Make your best deck and show it off on SNS with #DUEHOLO!

Rogue-like

If you lose, you have to start from the beginning. That’s what roguelike is all about. Even if you lose on the way, get the hang of it and move on to the next round!

Choosing the right route is also important to win the game! Choose the right route with an eye on the future.

“I’m not good at this kind of game… I’ve never played this kind of game before…” It’s okay if you’ve never played this kind of game before! There is a tutorial mode to help you learn the rules of the game while enjoying the dialogue between Pekora and Fubuki!

If this is your first time playing Dueholo, we recommend you to play the tutorial mode.

Difficulty Level

If you’re still worried… or if you think “you are too good for this game.”, don’t worry! There are three difficulty levels: Normal, Hard, and Very Hard!

In Normal mode, even if you lose, the difficulty level will decrease according to your previous results. In Hard mode, the difficulty level does not decrease even if you lose. Very Hard is a more difficult mode for those who know how to play.

Of course, you can gradually get used to it and clear from Normal to Very Hard!

Achievements and Rewards

If you clear the achievements in the game, you will be rewarded with illustrations of the holomem…? See for yourself! Achievements are not linked to Steam Achievements, but are completed in-game.
