Io Interactive has announced they’re going to announce new content for the 2016-released Hitman game this month.

The new content will be revealed on October 24th. Unfortunately, further details weren’t confirmed – however it is nice to see Io Interactive back into furthering the game after they re-acquired full ownership of the IP back from Square Enix.

Here’s the full message from the developer:

Mark this date on your calendars: October 24th. That’s the date when we will reveal brand new content for the game.

We’re going to let the announcement itself do all the talking, but there is one thing we want to clarify before then; this upcoming content is not “Season 2”. We’re saying that now to keep expectations in check.

So, save the date, let’s hope it doesn’t leak and we’ll see you there!

Hitman is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
