New Gameplay Video for The Evil Within 2 Introduces the Gruesome, Giggling Guardian

Bethesdsa Softworks has shared a five minute gameplay video for The Evil Within 2.

Featured above, the new gameplay introduces the game’s disturbing, monstrous creature known as the Guardian.

Here’s a rundown, Bethesda Softworks:

A breathless chase down a hallway. Echoing laughter and the whirring of a sawblade dogging your steps. If you’re brave enough to look behind you, you’ll see the maelstrom of body parts that make up the monstrous creature known as Guardian. Aside from a handful of brief glimpses in trailers, the recent hands-on demo for The Evil Within 2 was our first real up-close-and-personal encounter with Guardian.

The Evil Within 2 is launching across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 13th.

The saw blade is a bit much, but she (?) does give off some Nemesis vibes.

Is the first game worth it? Because this looks interesting.

It’s a decent game. There are a couple annoying parts but most of the negative feedback was from how buggy it was on release. It’s no RE4, but it’s better than RE6.

As someone who played through the first game and all its DLCs, theres no spoilers here.

Its an ok 7-8/10 game. Add extra point if you’re a fan of body horror and gore. Most of the technical launch issues have been fixed at this point, at least on the PC version that I know of. It should run well enough.
