New Footage of Japanese Super Smash Bros. Update Shows off More Ryu, Roy, and More

Following the short videos earlier this morning, we’ve gotten a more in-depth look at the supposed leak coming via a Japanese update to Super Smash Bros., which includes the new playable characters Ryu (Street Fighter), Roy (Fire Emblem), and even the previously confirmed Lucas (Mother 3).

Featured above, the hour+ recording of footage comes via Twitch user Crediar, who reportedly got into the source code of the Japanese update, enabling the currently locked characters.

While this is still an unconfirmed rumor for now – this is certainly looking like the real deal.

Nintendo is hosting their Super Smash Bros. “New Content Approaching” live stream, tomorrow morning – so we’ll update you guys then.
